Every time voting day comes around, the energy of empowerment personally for me, increases. It’s amazing because you can literally feel the spirits of every man and woman in history who fought, screamed, and yelled for the right, our right today, to #vote.
How can you not feel empowered?
Maybe it’s a bit much, but I consistently think about the history and legacy I will leave behind when I’m dead and gone. My children will have the opportunity to say, my Mom stood for something and I would do her a disservice if I didn’t. Having a presence in simply voting, instantly leaves an inheritance for your children. Exercise it!
We all have a platform. The question to ask ourselves is, “What are we using that platform for?” Cast your ballot, and encourage others to get out and vote. It’s our #CallofDuty.
History is written by the people who vote.”-Unknown
