In May 1960 former President John F. Kennedy (JFK) told the nation that “we” were going to put a man on the moon. Back then, that was outrageous, overly ambitious, and what seemed to be flat-out IMPOSSIBLE! I can hear people say…Man on the moon..what?! What a nut!
Now today, everyone has heard or will hear, the phrase “One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Low and behold..in 1961, we indeed placed a man on the moon.
Am I giving you a history lesson on a Friday? Absolutely not. I know the majority of the universe looks forward to Friday’s. But this is what I am saying.
If your dream hasn’t been laughed at, mocked, and verbally told that it’s outrageous, and/or impossible, you’re not reaching high enough.
Dreams and ambitions are not necessarily for others to see. After all, it’s YOUR dream. So if your dream is under the scope of someone’s humor, hatred, or mocking session, remember it was done to JFK and plenty others who have changed the face of existence.
So dream, and never stop dreaming.
