Sweet Miami Beach: Reflection

People have heard me say this many times, but although I said that Miami could never have me, meaning I don’t think I’ll live there, never say never, right? Lol

No pun intended.

Miami has a sparkle about it that has me in awe. Yesterday when I was driving to South Beach I was wondering why some people (the ones who live here) aren’t killing it.

Like everyone! Hustle!

If I lived in South Florida with WPB, Lauderdale, and Miami literally in my back pocket…mannnn, listen! One word, all MINE!

While all of this rushed my brain, then came the reason in clear form, why I wouldn’t (not couldn’t or wouldn’t want to) live in Miami.

Check this.

When you stare at gold day in and day out, that priceless item (the gold) becomes common.

On day one or even year one, it gave you a rush, took your breath away, and you was motivated to get out there and handle business!

Look at the car you drive now. When you first got it, you were grateful and egotistical fed (in a sense), every time you stepped into your new car. How do you feel about it now? It’s just a vehicle that takes you from point A to point B, right?

This is what happens to us. We forget to refresh our eyes, heart, minds, and spirit daily, and we become complacent.

It’s imperative, no matter where you are in the world, to see something different (the magic) in your environment. Because it’s our environment that shapes us. Every part of us.

That specific point also adds to the reason why I don’t sit in one place for to long. I’m always on the move! It keeps me on my toes, and I appreciate everything more while on the go. I learned years ago that people appreciate you more when they know they’re not going to have you tomorrow.

They don’t delay, question or hesitate. Well, most. The pressure of time.

But anyhow, it’s an incentive to keep my eyes and beliefs refreshed. Not that I’ll forget knowing me motivation on 10, but I’m human too.

So Miami, you can’t have me. Just not while I’m building anyhow. Discipline says so. For now..

People of South Florida…you have riches, wealth, and the life most people call success, surrounding you.

See it!

Don’t just look at it, SEE IT!

Where ever you are in the world, see your city or town’s sparkle. It’s there.

Remember, what you see, you become.
