Faithful readers and subscribers, it’s hump day!
I’ve been away trying to reconstruct my blog, but I had to hop online and share my enthusiasm about the 1989 film, Field of Dreams.
Field of Dreams is one of my favorite movies starring Kevin Costner.
In the movie…
“If you build it, he will come.”
..a ethereal message that I center existence and purpose around, was the same message that inspired Iowa farmer Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) to construct a baseball diamond in the middle of his cornfield.
That’s all I’m going to say, but I encourage you to watch this movie with NO DISTRACTIONS. Don’t watch the trailer. It reveals too much, and steal your ah-ha moments. I want you to receive the FULL breath of the movie so, stay way from the trailer. Just watch!
In the movie director, Phil Alden Robinson, has captured the FULL essence of life, purpose, and faith.
I always encourage friends, family, and the strangers I have the pleasure to meet from time to time that if you relentlessly build your dream, all that is needed will naturally come (be attracted) to you.
This movie motivates and illuminates the dreamer in me. It’s feeds and excites my childlike spirit to envision and go after the impossible. I’m going to try not to reveal too much, but Ray and his wife, their relationship makes me swoon! I want a relationship and connection like they have. Her unwavering support and blind trust is eccentric and breathtaking. I only hope to model her attributes to both my future husband and children, while having them support me in return as well.
Today I am living like more blissfully and following my muse now more than ever! And it’s amazing!
This movie coerces my acceptance to the illusion of mistakes and time etc. It presents the notion and fact, that every part, portion, and piece of your life is lining up to one HUGE revelation and purpose that shards debris, penetrating each and every person you’ll come in contact with in your lifetime.
All of what is needed and desired lies waiting in your Field of Dreams. I have my own, and it’s slowly unfolding. It’s truly, true what they say quoting that it’s not the destination, but the journey that counts.
- Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur usually involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.
How practical. But, do you know what it’s like to dream while awake?
