Why Am I Sharing?

This morning I was listening to Teal Swan and Ralph Smart’s Youtube video. “How to be Authentic”.

[The video is posted below.]

This video instantly reminded me of why I continued my blog, choosing the name, Share My World. I wanted to create a space where I can be authentic. A place where I can share my madness, likes, dislikes. My theories and discoveries, My controversial thoughts, feelings, and revolutionary outlook and vision(s) of life. All in all I wanted a space to be totally authentic.

Well of course, you know, somewhere between learning and evolving throughout the blogging world they don’t teach you how to be success and authentic. They teach you how to discover what you audience wants and stick to it. If only we were ONE thing or felt ONE way all the time, that’ll be easy, huh?

Then there’s question of, Is my blog receptive to others? If the title catchy? Is my grammar correct? Are my pictures engaging and high quality? Then here comes the follow question: Why the hell am I sharing? lol

62b4a7f14bf2854383e7c6c4e593f8cdWell, Teal and Ralph has re-inspired me to approach you, my audience, with a complete authentic approach – not saying my material hasn’t been authentic. But, there is a lot of material that I don’t share and delete after sharing, because I’m always wondering if you’ll like the content I’m putting out (in a resonatory kinda way), or even reading it for that matter.

However, throughout the evolution of where I want to take my blog, I think I lost my intention according to my original purpose for creating this platform. Resulting in not posting as often as I’d like.

This “space” is as much about me (my journey) as it is about you, learning and growing with me throughout my journey as I share.

I always referred to my blog as an open diary, which is a little scary. But I want to share and make comfortable with my vulnerabilities, my mistakes, rebellious ways and so forth. Perfection has robbed us from feeling (being okay with getting upset, frustrated, doubting etc) and the desire to be experimental (stepping outside the box and discovering the unknown). But, lets not forget that we are meant to feel and experiment. That’s the journey of life.

Forget who you should be and be who you are.

Authenticity – making a choice to be honest in every moment.

Let your light burn…
