Here’s some advice that you can take into the New Year!

As always, I must share something with you before we jump right into what my advice is for the New Year.

So, here goes!

My gratitude level for my colleagues and friends is immense. Especially the women I’m around.

I tell ya, they’re not afraid to say, “Sarah, it’s sounding like you on this one,” or “Don’t say you’re going to try, say you are…” They’re definitely not afraid to check me! Lol Aren’t I blessed? Haha!

With them, I will make it through any and everything that comes my way in 2016 and affirm it.1937482_1525398411047586_5494409161233190695_n

I’ve found that support is the single most important thing you need when fast tracking it to success. It’s like having everything you need on reserve, for the days you’re magic is a little off.

Here’s Tip # 1:

Build upon the shoulders of giants. Be on the search for colleagues and friends who support you so much that they’re not afraid to correct you. Because, life is going to get tough – not that you don’t know that already, I’m sure – but you’re going to need the support to sustain you throughout the process. But, just remember that if you’re cooking (going through a tough time) that means you’re growing.

Here’s Tip # 2:

When writing down your goals, aka ordering what you want for the new year, be sure to leave some space on your plate for the unseen.

Looking back last year when I was packing up my apartment to move from a place where I spent 6-7 years of my life, I remember planning the blueprint for 2015 to the T.10897863_1525303614390399_8549293227435896091_n

I mean, I was on cloud 9 because I was starting fresh, and I was headed to Puerto Rico for New Years. You couldn’t tell me nothing!

Little did I know, not one of my plans would see the light of day.

NOTHING that I structurally planned came to past. Not one, other than my continuous wish to personally grow. I filled my plate up so much that I didn’t leave room for the possibilities that life. almost always, grants.

Remember: Clutter causes chaos.

So, my advice to you for the upcoming year is to get you some allies who undoubtedly support you, and to leave a little a room for the universe to bless you with the things you never knew you wanted.

Today, on December 29, 2015, I can attest to the saying that the truth is ugly. I’ve found some truth within myself, my family, and my past. 2015 has shown me the power of self-sufficiency–grabbing FULL control of your life.

What I’ve shared isn’t a gimmick or regurgitated from a book I’ve read. It’s all from experience. Find you a support system, and when you plan for the New Year, plan to leave room for what is to come.

2016 is going to be a Field of Dreams.

2+0+1+6= 9= Completion!

P.S. Isn’t my cat adorable? My older brother put her in the box while we were packing up my apartment. She’s a character! 🙂
