Put it ALL in perspective.

The hardest moments of your life will be when you’re transitioning from one version of yourself to another.

The pressure of personal and professional advancement will get heavier. It’ll be as if a large piece of cement has been laid on your chest and as time passes, it gets heavier and heavier. As this is happening, your tolerance for certain things, things that may not have bothered you before, will become unbearable. You’re losing oxygen and now you’re seconds away from panicking. To reduce the pressure you have to either decrease your altitude immediately or ride it out until you get to your destination.

Ride it out.

With altitude, some people and things are just going to flat-out die: Relationships, friendships, habits, old desires etc.

As things begin to fall off, proceed with your pursuit and continue to go higher. The weight that needs to fall off, will. Don’t be afraid of a little chaos. Let the chaos relieve the pressure as you go higher.

When you’re walking in a life of vision and purpose, you have to come to the realization that not everyone is going to be down with what you’re doing, and you just have to be okay with that.

It’s a long narrow and winding road for sure. But, I guarantee you it’s a road worth taking.

Put what you want into perspective.

Go all in for what you know to be true and allow yourself to be everything good, bad, and/or ugly when necessary. All of it contributes to the making of your journey.

This is life. Pressure and all.

Life isn’t happening to you, but for you.

Your Life. Your Story. Your Way.

I never desire nothing more than what is for me and who is for me–no matter how long I have to be patient to get it. I will not wrap up or entangle anyone in my life between now and the time my life takes full form. So no matter how a diamond may sparkle and shine, because I am certain and confident that another belongs to me, I can easily walk past it with no regrets.

When you’re confident in your journey and trust your process, you’re not easily fooled or enticed into a life with someone who does not fit yours.

Because in some version or form, we are all starring in our own superhero/love story.

When I was younger I always said I wanted my story to have history. Meaning, something old and something new coupled into an amazing finish. Or the movie plot that screams, I always knew, but I never thought. The story where your starting line is the finish line.

And it absolutely will happen that way, because I, unknowingly, set that up yearssss ago. Therefore the things that may seem like obstacles and circumstances, will happen in my life to ensure the “history” I once, and still do desire.

The best part is that I don’t have to act, or be made up any way. Because somebody loved me for me, before I discovered make-up, weave, nor my purpose that will globally impact the universe. So the people who know me personally or not so personally, can understand why I do not entertain nor waste time with most people or things.

Because I know in my gut what is to come. #TheCertainInUncertainty

You see, little do we know, the things we say with a genuine heart and with conscious or unconscious confidence, petitions the universe to manifest what we desire. When we understand ourselves and the laws of the universe, we’ll understand life and our journey. Therefore, whether you know it or not, this isn’t Burger King, but you will have it your way.

P.S. Understand that what you may think is resistance, really isn’t resistance at all. That’s just the universe saying, that, him, or her isn’t for you. #Patience Is Key. Let your story unfold.
